Dr John Han graduated from the University of Melbourne with Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. His passion for dental implants led him to complete Master’s in Oral Implantology from Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany.
His thesis was on the “Effects of abutment emergence profile angle and shape on surrounding bone level changes” and was invited to speak about his research findings at 10th International Scientific Symposium Innovation Jumps in Oral Implantology.
He is a Fellow and a Diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantologist (ICOI), the highest credential achievable within the organisation. He is also a member of Australian Dental Association.
He believes in sharing of knowledge. He is involved in training of dentists looking to start implantology, and also volunteered as a mentor for the final year dental students at the University of Melbourne.
He is primarily focused on functional and esthetic rehabilitation via dental implants, hard and soft tissue grafting and complex extractions.
His treatment philosophy aims to tailor treatment plans to individual needs, and strives to provide the best possible care for his patients.
