Dr Esperance Kahwagi

Dr Esperance Kahwagi completed her dental education at the University of Melbourne. She has experience in hospital leadership and management, having worked at The Royal Dental Hospital for more than 22 years in the Teaching Clinics, Primary Care clinics, and General Practice Clinics.

She continues to hold clinical supervisory roles within the Melbourne Dental School, University of Melbourne, where she teaches students at the junior and senior levels.

As a clinician her area of focus for the past 12 years has been in minor oral surgical procedures including complex surgical extractions and wisdom teeth extractions.

Outside of dentistry, her interests are varied and include spending time with her dog, cycling, sewing, and cooking. Most recently, she has been trying to master the art of sourdough bread making—persistence is key!”
