The first step in the whitening process is to take accurate impressions or a 3D scan of your teeth.
These impressions will be made into custom whitening trays. The trays will fit onto your teeth perfectly so that the whitening product sits on your teeth, and not your gums.
If your teeth have stains or calculus on them, you will achieve a better whitening result if you have your teeth professionally cleaned before commencing the whitening treatment.
The second step is to place the whitening solution in the trays and wear them for 30 to 45 minutes daily.
Make sure you brush and floss your teeth before placing the trays. We suggest you do it at night, after dinner, as it is best to avoid dark-colored drinks and food for at least an hour after whitening.
Within only 7 to 10 days, you should see a significant improvement in the colour of your teeth.
Your smile will look brighter and younger!
Why keeping our teeth their whitest is a lot harder than it sounds.
Coffee, wine, smoking, curries, and other foods that have the ability to stain our teeth make it difficult to keep teeth white.
Even with proper brushing and flossing, teeth darken over time. Improvements in teeth whitening can restore the natural colour of your teeth, or even make them whiter than your natural colour if you prefer.
Whitening works on natural teeth and does not change the colour of any crowns, bridges, implants or composite restorations (fillings) you may already have. We will inform you as to the suitability of your mouth for whitening.
In-chair whitening can be completed within our clinic for instant results!
This chairside whitening procedure uses a unique, gentle formula that begins to activate immediately once placed on your teeth. This product lets us give you teeth 6-10 shades whiter within 1 hour.
At the end of your in-chair whitening treatment, we will also provide you with a personalised take-home maintenance kit to continue making your teeth shine from the comfort of your home.
We will provide you with enough gel to top-up your whitening for 6 to 12 months to keep that smile nice and bright!
