Dr Semi Lim

Dr Semi grew up in sunny Queensland, and moved to Victoria for her studies at the University of Melbourne.

She graduated with Bachelor of Biomedicine and Doctor of Dental Surgery degrees. During her dental degree, she was awarded multiple prestigious prizes for her academic excellence.

Prior to joining the team at The Smile Place Mt Eliza, Dr Semi gained extensive experience in general dentistry working in the inner north and eastern suburbs. Her treatment philosophy is to provide the best care possible in a caring and gentle manner. It is her mission to provide a positive experience for every patient and to build a long-lasting relationship, which will equip patients to maintain good oral health.

Clinically, she has a particular interest in restorative, cosmetic and children’s dentistry. To further her knowledge, Semi sat and passed the membership program of the Royal College of Australasian College of Dental Surgeon and was admitted to membership in 2023.

Outside of work, she is a proud mum to her baby girl Mina, furbaby Moomoo and is very passionate about anything delicious! You’ll find her busy cooking up a storm to feed family and friends.
