A single visit crown is a quick and efficient way to restore your smile. With same-day crowns, there’s no need for multiple appointments or temporary crowns. Everything is done in just one visit, making it perfect for anyone with a busy schedule or those who feel anxious about repeat dental visits
Your same day crown begins with an appointment in the morning. Your dentist will start by scanning your teeth with advanced 3D imaging to create a digital model. From there, your scans are transferred to a computer where a digital model of your custom crown is then created to fit perfectly in your mouth.
While you go off and enjoy some lunch or run errands, your crown will be milled in our in-office milling machine. It’s then fired in a furnace where the porcelain sets, giving the crown a more natural tooth appearance.
Your dentist will then make the final touches to your crown, polishing it to ensure everything looks perfect before you return to us in the afternoon where your dentist will cement the crown into place.
Inlays and onlays are often referred to as partial crowns. They use the existing tooth as a base and fit the inlay or onlay onto the tooth. This is done to strengthen the tooth, restore its shape, and prevent further damage. The process for inlays and on-lays is the same as a full dental crown!
